Equal relations with both Russia and China guarantees Kazakhstan's independence and stability, President Nursultan Nazarbayev said during talks with Chinese President Hu Jintao in a narrow format on Saturday. Hu Jintao arrived in Astana for a state visit on Monday, Itar-Tass reported. President Nazarbayev said that in relations with China, Kazakhstan doesn't intend to allow faults and want to have relations based on the documents that were signed by the two sides. As the president said, Kazakhstan pays priority attention to cooperation with China. "Our experts prepared for singing nine serious agreements which will bring our relations to a new level," he stressed. Nazarbayev also said that Kazakhstan firmly supports China's stance regarding Taiwan. "Kazakhstan won't allow threatening China's integrity from our territory," the president said. He expressed the hope that China will also support the same stand.
