The first Saudi Industry and Export Exhibition to be participated in by big Saudi petrochemical, food and engineering companies will be inaugurated by Minister of Industry and Commerce Hashim Yamani at the Jeddah International Exhibitions Center on Wednesday. "The 10-day exhibit aims to show the development the Kingdom has witnessed over the last years that has led to a SR80b increase in Saudi non-oil exports," said Abdullah Bin Mahfouz, Head of the Jeddah International Exhibitions Center. "By introducing Saudi products both here and abroad, the Jeddah International Exhibitions Center hopes to double exports in the next few years especially after it has joined the WTO that would help Saudi products penetrate international markets," said a report published today by Saudi Gazette.
