Konica Minolta Holdings Inc reported on Thursday its net profit soared 52.9 per cent in the April-June quarter from a year before, to 16.14 billion yen (136.31 million dollars), thanks to robust sales of colour printers and a weaker yen, DPA reported . The Japanese precision-equipment maker said its operating profit for the quarter grew by 11.2 per cent to 24.74 billion yen while its sales were up 4.6 per cent to 252.41 billion yen. Konica Minolta kept its forecast for the full year through March 2008 unchanged with an expected net profit of 47.50 billion yen and sales of 1.05 trillion yen, the company said.
