The Minister of Education Dr. Abdullah bin Salih Al-Obeid, who is also Chief of the Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association, received at the Arab Tent Headquarters here today King CARL XVI Gustaf of Sweden, Honorary President of the World Scout Foundation and President of the World Scout Fund. During the meeting, the minister briefed the King of Sweden on the cultural and intellectual message of the Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association. The King highlighted the support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Crown Prince Sultan to both the Association in this International Camp and the scout and youth activities which enhance the role of Saudi youth in representing their country. The King and the Minister toured the sections of the Saudi Arabia Boy Scouts Association. The King praised the Association's role in the dissemination of peace and exchanging cultures through its activities. The meeting was attended by President of International Union of Muslim Scouts Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Nasseef and a number of officials.
