Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Ireland and Dr. Abdullah bin Salih Al-Obeid, Minister of Education and Chairman of Saudi Arabian Scout Association inaugurated here today the pavilion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and working shops held on the fringes of 21st international scout camp currently in progress with participation of more than 100 countries. The pavilion contains the Arab tent and exhibits of heritage utensils used in the past. The prince also visited the exhibition held on the sidelines of the pavilion about the association's activities. Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf and Dr. Al-Obeid also visited the headquarters of Saudi scout group. They held a meeting with Chairman of World Scout and exchanged talks on scout activities. In a statement, Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince for supporting the Saudi scout association in this world camp and the scout and youth activities that enhance the role of Saudi youth in best representation of their country. He also thanked the minister of education and members of scout group for great organization efforts exerted in preparation for the camp to achieve its cherished goals. Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf pointed out that the camp comprising nearly 40000 scouts aims to enhance the concept of peace and tolerance among peoples, to exchange cultures and civilizations and to demonstrate the civilized image of Saudis, adhering to their religion and principles, through acquaintance and dialogue with others.
