Under the patronage of Prince Faisal Ibn Abdullah Ibn Mohammed Al Saud, the Minister of Education, who is also Chairman of Board of Trustees of Saudi Equestrian Fund, a reception and dinner party was held here last night on the occasion of "Exhibition of Gift from the Desert for Arab Thoroughbred Horses and their History." The Exhibition was inaugurated at International Museum in Kingston city last Thursday. It is organized by Saudi Equestrian Federation and Fund, coinciding with the upcoming World Equestrian Championship, to be hosted by Kentucky state next September. The party was attended by Prince Turki Al-Faisal, President of King Faisal Center for Islamic Research and Studies; Prince Nawaf Ibn Faisal Ibn Fahd Ibn Abdulaziz, Vice President-General of Youth Welfare, Deputy Chairman of Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee and President of Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation (SAEF); Prince Turki Ibn Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of Board of Directors of Saudi Equestrian Fund and the Governor of U.S. Kentucky State Steve Beshear. Addressing the party, Prince Faisal Ibn Abdullah Ibn Mohammed Al Saud emphasized the importance of the convention of the Exhibition and its heritage and artistic exhibits related to the equestrian history and the role of Arabian thoroughbred horses in the history of human civilization.
