chairs of the UN reforms panel, discussed the implementation of UN reforms to improve the coherence and effectiveness in the areas of development, environmental protection and humanitarian assistance. They also discussed the implementation of the UN reforms Panel Report. Aziz conveyed the creation of One-UN Pilot Project in Pakistan as part of the implementation of UN report. The leaders also discussed the proposals of Norwegian Prime Minister for setting up of a network of global leaders including Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz for implementation of UN Millennium Development Goals 4 and 5 relating to Mother and Child Healthcare, which is to be formally launched during the forthcoming UN General Assembly session in September 2007. Both leaders reviewed bilateral relations between Pakistan and Norway. They appreciated the level of progress in strengthening these relations and stressed upon the need to further expand and enhance them. Aziz appreciated the assistance provided by the Norwegian government to Pakistan in the educational and healthcare sectors. He said that the large Pakistani community living in Norway is contributing towards bringing the countries closer and increasing investment. Jens Stoltenberg appreciated the steps taken by the Pakistani government to ensure peace and stability in the country and expressed his government's support to the policies of government of Pakistan in this campaign against terrorism
