The Arab-African parliamentary conference resumed here today its deliberations. Saudi Arabia is represented at the conference by a delegation from the Shoura (consultative) council. The participants of the conference had earlier reviewed issues pertaining to the human development in Africa and the Arab countries as well as the political, economic and social situation in the world in addition to aspects of cooperation between Africa and the Arab world. Representatives of 28 Arab and African parliaments are participating in the conference in addition to the representatives of he Arab League, the African parliamentary federation, the Islamic conference and the transitional Arab parliament.
