Israeli aircraft struck at a missile launcher in the Gaza Strip Sunday afternoon, killing two members of the Islamic Jihad organization, and bringing to four the number of Palestinians killed since the pre-dawn hours, DPA reported. The two killed in the airstrike were hit as they were trying to launch a makeshift missile from the Strip at an adjacent Israeli town, witnesses and medical officials said. The strike came shortly after missiles hit the Israel town of Sderot, which has suffered almost daily barrages since Israel pulled out the salient almost two years ago. One of Sunday's missiles hit a college in the town, and a woman was lightly injured by shrapnel. Other townsfolk were treated for shock, reports said. Earlier Sunday, Israeli ground troops operating in the northern Strip killed two Hamas gunmen as they were preparing an ambush.
