Pakistan and China Saturday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to set up Pak-China Investment Company to cooperate in trade, economic and investment sectors. It was signed by Secretary Economic Affairs Akram Malik and Director Pak-China Investment Company Xia Qiang in Islamabad, The Pakistan Press International (PPI) reported. Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance Dr. Salman Shah said it is 5-year joint venture and part of Pak-China Economic Cooperation. It would help develop infrastructure in agriculture, manufacturing and mineral sectors. Meanwhile, Pakistan and Malaysia signed a MoU for cooperation in tourism promotion. Secretary, Tourism Shahid Rafi and Secretary General, Ministry of Tourism of Malaysia Datuk Dr. Victor Wee signed the MoU in Islamabad.
