One person died and 19 were injured Monday when a bus carrying Czech tourists crashed near the southern Serbian town of Nis, some 200 kilometres south of the capital Belgrade, police confirmed, according to dpa. The driver of the bus, according to the police report, died after the bus crashed into the back of a truck on the Belgrade-Nis highway. Nineteen passengers were injured, six of them seriously. More than 40 Czech tourists, the report said, were in the bus, travelling back home to the Czech Republic from a holiday in Greece, via Serbia.
