The death toll from a passenger coach that fell more than 100 metres off a bridge in eastern Bangladesh climbed to 15 on Sunday as police and civil defence rescuers recovered two more bodies from the wreckage, officials said, according to dpa. Hospital sources said three people critically wounded in Saturday's crash died early Sunday, pushing the overnight death toll of ten to 15. Reports on Saturday said that 10 people were dead and 16 critically injured in the accident which happened near the town of Mirersarai, about 240 kilometres east of the capital Dhaka. The bus was carrying farm labourers from the hill district of Khagrachari returning to work after weekend holidays.
