At least 21 people, including several women and children, were killed on Friday by a landslide triggered by heavy rains in a village in western Nepal, police said. The landslide swept away six houses in the Gwalichour village in Baglung district, about 250 km (155 miles) west of Kathmandu, Reuters reported. "All victims were swept away by the landslide while they were sleeping," a police officer said. Rescue workers have been sent to the remote village with tents, clothes and medicines, another official said.
