Police in Tennessee said they suspect a long-haul trucker from Illinois of killing six women in four states. CNN reported that Bruce Mendenhall, 56, faced criminal homicide charges in Nashville, Tenn., in the shooting death of Sara Nicole Hulbert, 25, whose body was found in a truck stop last month. Mendenhall was being held without bail, UPI reported. Authorities had been searching for a truck with a yellow cab since the vehicle was seen on surveillance camera tapes from the night Hulbert was killed, The Tennessean reported Friday. Mendenhall was arrested Thursday after being seen driving a truck with a yellow cab near where Hulbert was killed on June 26, the newspaper said. Police said after a detective saw blood inside Mendenhall's truck cab, the truck driver made statements allegedly implicating himself in the deaths of Hulbert and women from Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia and Indiana, CNN reported.
