Police retrieved a plastic bag containing various bomb-making materials and a fully assembled bomb which had been buried in a graveyard here Friday. The materials included 48 detonators, sulphur, 10-centimeter- long nails, colored wires and an active bomb, ANTARA reorted. Poso Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Adeni Muhan Dg Pabali said police discovered the materials after a tip-off from local residents. He said the materials were probably a legacy of the past communal conflict and had been buried by their owner as the conflict had ended and security situations in the region had returned to normal. "I thank the people who have been cooperative and helped the police with the information," he said. He said he could not as yet confirm if the owner was one of the people still on the police`s wanted list and their sympathizers that had deliberately dumped the materials in the cemetary compound in Kayamanya. "It still has to be investigated," he said. All the materials were taken to the Poso police station for further investigation.
