A bus and minivan collided on Thursday near a vacation town on Egypt's northern coast, killing at least 13 people and injuring eight, police said. The accident occurred about 48 kilometers (30 miles) from Marsa Matrouh, a vacation town on the Mediterranean coast 523 kilometers (325 miles) northwest of Cairo when a speeding bus crashed into the minivan, police said. The driver of the bus and all the passengers in the van were killed, The Associated Press reported.
