IN RAJAB 1426 H., THE SECOND MONTH OF THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE GIVEN TO HIM BY HIS PEOPLE, HE ORDERED THE INCREASE BY 15% OF SALARIES FOR ALL CIVIL AND MILITARY SAUDI PERSONNEL AND SERVICEMEN. ALSO ORDERED, WAS THE REDUCTION OF GASOLINE PRICES, THE ESTABLISHMENT OF NEW UNIVERSITIES, COLLEGES, INSTITUTES AND SCHOOLS, INCREASE OF APPROPRIATIONS FOR SECTORS THAT SERVE THE PEOPLE LIKE , SOCIAL INSURANCE, WATER, ELECTRICITY, REAL ESTATE FUND, CREDIT BANK, AND INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT FUND.
HE ALSO ORDERED THE APPROPRIATION OF ADDITIONAL SUM OF 8 BILLION SAUDI RIYAL FOR POPULAR HOUSING IN ALL PARTS OF THE KINGDOM.
