At least five persons were killed and 11 wounded Tuesday morning in two accidents in Pakistan s port city of Karachi, police said. The accidents took place at the Northern Bypass and Super Highway in Karachi. A truck carrying vegetables from Khuzdar (Balochistan) to Karachi collided with a long vehicle coming from the opposite direction at Manghopir due to rash driving. Three persons including the truck driver were killed in the accident. Another truck carrying fruit from Hyderabad to Karachi slammed into a stationary long vehicle, parked on roadside at the Super Highway. Two persons died in the accident while nine persons were wounded.
