150 tons of Dates gifted to Sri Lanka

In line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has gifted 150 tons of Dates to the Republic of Sri Lanka as an assistance to the needy people there.
The gift was presented by Saudi Ambassador to Sri Lanka Mohammed Mahmoud Al-Ali in a ceremony attended by Sri Lankan Minister of Petroleum & Petroleum Resources' Development A.H.M. Fowzie, who is also the Supervisor of Islamic affairs and a number of Sri Lankan high-level officials.
