Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsin Al-Turki, the Secretary General of The Muslim World League and the President of the Islamic Universities held a meeting here today with the Board of Trustees of Yala Islamic University at University Headquarter in Yala Province. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ismael Lutfi, the Rector of the University said the University received additional support from the government of Saudi Arabia which allowed the University to be upgraded from a small college to a scientific University for Muslim minority in Thailand. On his part, Dr. Al-Turki reiterated that the MWL will support the University with teaching staff and curricula and printed books for the University's library.
