The Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL), Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki met here today the Rector of Indonesian University Dr. Koumilar Sumantri and Indonesian Cultural Attaché (in Riyadh) Dr. Muhammad Lutfi. During the meeting, the Rector gave a detailed briefing on the University and its activities, disclosing that there are more than 55,000 students who are pursuing their academic studies in the University and that they are assisted by 6,000 professors and doctors in seeking knowledge about various aspects and disciplines of Islamic studies. He hailed the efforts undertaken by the MWL in various fields, especially in relation to the advancement of the Islamic Dawa (propagation) and Islamic education. For his part, the MWL Secretary General expressed the League's readiness to cooperate with the University in various fields of education.
