THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ AL SAUD ARRIVED IN MADRID TODAY COMING FROM CASABLANCA, MOROCCO, ON AN OFFICIAL VISIT TO SPAIN AT AN INVITATION OF KING JUAN CARLOS OF SPAIN. DURING HIS STAY, KING ABDULLAH IS SCHEDULED TO HOLD TALKS WITH SPAIN'S LEADERS ON WAYS OF ENHANCING BILATERAL RELATIONS BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES IN ALL FIELDS IN ADDITION TO DISCUSSING REGIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL ISSUES OF MUTUAL CONCERN, PARTICULARLY THE PALESTINIAN ISSUE. AT THE ROYAL PALACE, KING ABDULLAH WAS GIVEN A RED-CARPET WELCOME BY QUEEN SOFIA; CROWN PRINCE FELIPE DE BORBN, SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, MINISTERS AND SENIOR OFFICIALS. INSIDE THE PALACE, KING JUAN CARLOS DECORATED KING ABDULLAH WITH TAUZIN DE URO MEDAL, SPAIN'S MOST PRESTIGIOUS HONOR GIVEN SO FAR TO ONLY 12 LEADERS OF THE WORLD.
