A significant cultural demonstration titled "Colors from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia" was co-opened in the Spanish capital of Madrid today by King Juan Carlos of Spain and Saudi Ambassador to Spain Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz at the Conferences Palace in Madrid. Following the ribbon-cut ceremony, the Spanish monarch toured the exhibition and was briefed on its contents. A number of diplomatic corps accredited to Spain also attended the event. Briefing the press on the contents of the exhibition, the ambassador said this exhibition, the biggest in size of a series of cultural exhibitions previously organized by the Saudi Embassy in Madrid, was designed to exhibit aspects of the Saudi society and cultures. He noted that this time Saudi females are participating in the event, citing the works of four female plastic artists in the cultural festival. He disclosed that he invited Spain to hold similar cultural events in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
