Torrential rains, lightening and flash flood have claimed 17 lives, including five children, and wounded dozens in Pakistan's northern areas, officials said. The devastation took place in Matta sub-district of Swat district. The paramilitary force, Frontier Constabulary, and police officials are conducting the rescue work in the affected areas.
