EXPLOSIVES KILLED A MAN WHO WENT TO PLANT THEM AT THE GOVERNMENT SECRETARIAT IN OSOGBO, THE OSUN STATE CAPITAL IN NIGERIA'S SOUTH-WEST THURSDAY. ANOTHER MAN WAS SERIOUSLY INJURED, ACCORDING TO DPA. POLICE COMMISSIONER IN OSOGBO, SULAIMAN FAKAI, CONFIRMED THAT THE TWO AND ANOTHER MAN WERE THE ONLY ONES INVOLVED. THE THIRD PERSON WAS STILL AT LARGE. DEPUTY GOVERNOR OF OSUN STATE, OLUSOLA OBADA, LINKED THE INCIDENT TO THE APRIL GOVERNORSHIP ELECTIONS AND ACCUSED OPPOSITION POLITICAL PARTIES THAT LOST TO THE RULING PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY IN THE STATE OF BEING BEHIND THE CRIME.
