Passengers created uproar as three domestic flights of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) faced inordinate delay due to technical fault at the Islamabad International Airport on Tuesday, officials said. PK-301 was scheduled to take off at 10.30 a.m. but was delayed due to glitches. PK-365 was scheduled to leave for Karachi at 7.00 a.m. but could not for four and half hours. Another flight PK-607, scheduled for northern area of Gilgit, faced delay due to technical fault. The passengers protested and chanted slogans against the PIA, eyewitnesses said. A PIA official said technical problems were the causes of delay.
