U.S.-led coalition and Afghan troops clashed with suspected Taliban fighters and called in air strikes, killing two of them and detaining nine others, a coalition statement said Wednesday. Fighters twice attacked the troops in the Khas Uruzgan district of Uruzgan province on Tuesday, and retreated into a compound that was later bombed by coalition aircraft, the statement was quoted as saying by the Associated Press.
