THE SRI LANKAN PRIME MINISTER RATNASIRI WICKREMANAYAKE, RECEIVED IN THE SRI LANKAN CAPITAL, COLOMBO, TODAY ABDUL-RAHMAN HAMAD AL-ATIYYAH, THE GCC SECRETARY GENERAL.
DURING THE MEETING, THEY DISCUSSED A NUMBER OF ISSUES PERTAINING TO ENHANCING COOPERATION BETWEEN THE GCC COUNTRIES AND SRI LANKA.
LATER TODAY, AL-ATIYYAH MET WITH SRI LANKAN MINISTER OF FOREIGN EMPLOYMENT PROMOTION & WELFARE KEHELILYA RAMBUKWELLA. DURING THE MEETING, THEY DISCUSSED A NUMBER OF ECONOMIC ISSUES OF MUTUAL INTEREST.
