Turkish troops killed two Kurdish rebels in an overnight clash in the southeast, the governor's office said Friday, bringing the number of insurgents killed in fighting this week to 16. The clash, near the town of Tunceli, is part of a series of large-scale offensives that the military has launched against separatist rebels, the Associated Press reported.
