LONDON-BASED KING FAHD ACADEMY ORGANIZED HERE TODAY A FESTIVAL TITLED '' ''CULTURAL WORLD DAY'' UNDER THE PATRONAGE OF PRINCESS FADWA BINT KHALID BIN ABDULLAH, THE SUPERVISOR OF FEMALE SECTION AT THE SAUDI EMBASSY IN LONDON. THE ACADEMY'S ELEMENTARY STUDENTS FROM VARIOUS ARAB AND ISLAMIC NATIONALITIES PARTICIPATED IN THE FESTIVAL AIMING TO ENHANCE THE BONDS OF LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP AMONG STUDENTS AND TO HIGHLIGHT THE FEATURES OF CIVILIZATION PROGRESS IN THEIR COUNTRIES. A SPEECH CEREMONY WAS HELD ON THIS OCCASION. IN A SPEECH ON BEHALF OF PRINCE MOHAMMED BIN NAWAF BIN ABDULAZIZ, SAUDI AMBASSADOR TO THE UNITED KINGDOM AND IRELAND, ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ AL-SHAGHROUD, THE PLENIPOTENTIARY MINISTER AT THE SAUDI EMBASSY SAID THAT THE MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL WILL BECOME AN IMPORTANT POINT IN THE DEEP-ROOTED HISTORY OF THE ACADEMY. HE HOPED THAT ANOTHER FESTIVAL WILL BE HELD NEXT YEAR. THE FESTIVAL WAS ATTENDED BY MEMBERS OF ARAB AND ISLAMIC DIPLOMATIC CORPS ACCREDITED TO BRITAIN.
