THE HEALTH MINISTERS OF GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL (GCC) COUNTRIES HELD HERE TODAY THEIR 63RD CONFERENCE ON THE OCCASION OF THE CONVENTION OF THE WORLD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF PUBLIC HEALTH. IN A STATEMENT TO THE SAUDI PRESS AGENCY (SPA), DR. HAMAD BIN ABDULLAH AL-MANEA, THE MINISTER OF HEALTH AND HEAD OF THE DELEGATION OF SAUDI ARABIA TO THE MEETING SAID THAT DIABETES HAS SPREAD ALL OVER THE WORLD AND REACHED 25 % OF POPULATION IN COUNTRIES NECESSITATING THAT ALL PEOPLES SHOULD STAND TOGETHER AGAINST THIS DISEASE. HE NOTED THAT THE SAUDI DELEGATION HAS MET WITH DR. MARGARETH SHAN THE ASSEMBLY'S DIRECTOR GENERAL AND DISCUSSED THE HEALTH SITUATION IN THE KINGDOM AND THE WORLD.
