Saudi-UAE Economic Forum starts its works 2 Riyadh

HUMEID, THE EDITOR-IN-CHIEF OF ASHARQ-AL-AWSAT NEWSPAPER SAID THE FORUM IS A FRUITFUL OUTCOME OF COOPERATION BETWEEN THE SAUDI GOVERNMENTAL AND PRIVATE SECTORS AND THE UAE.
HE UNDERLINED THE IMPORTANCE OF SUPPORTING THE SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCES.
ON HIS PART, ABDULRAHMAN AL-RASHID, THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COUNCIL OF THE SAUDI CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY, HIGHLIGHTED THE FOSTERING ECONOMIC RELATIONS BETWEEN THE KINGDOM AND THE UAE, AND SAID EVER SINCE THE START OF JOINT SAUDI-UAE INVESTMENTS UNTIL THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2007, THESE INVESTMENTS AMOUNTED TO ABOUT SR154.4 BILLION. THE SHARE OF THE UAE IN THESE INVESTMENTS ACCOUNTED FOR 20.7 PERCENT.
HE URGED THE UAE'S INVESTORS TO INVEST IN THE BIG ECONOMIC PROJECTS IN THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA.
