Prince MIsha'al bin Saud bin Abdul-Aziz, THE Governor of Najran region patronized here last night Al-Marai Scientific Innovation Prize ceremony for its 6th session. Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmad Al-Rasheed, Secretary General of the Prize and Deputy Chairman of King Abdul-Aziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), said that Al-Marai Company and KACST exerted their utmost efforts to upgrade the level of science and knowledge among creative researchers and inventors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He announced the winners of the prizes in various categories as follows. The category of physics was won by Dr. Abdul-Aziz bin Dakhel Al-Haidari from, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals; the category of agriculture clinched by Dr. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Harkan and Dr. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Hilal, both from King Saud University; the category of electrical engineering was withheld; the category of women's scientific research was bagged by Dr. Aishah bint Mohammed Al-Qahtani. -- SPA
