JOAF, SAUDI ARABIA, MAY 9, SPA -- THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ GRACED A LUNCH PARTY HELD HERE TODAY IN HIS HONOR BY PRINCE FAHD BIN BADER BIN ABDULAZIZ, GOVERNOR OF AL-JOAF REGION.
UPON ARRIVAL AT THE GOVERNOR'S PALACE, THE KING WAS BRIEFED ON A REPLICA OF THE DEVELOPMENTAL HOUSING PROJECT IN AL-GIRAYAT PROVINCE, AN AFFILIATE OF AL-JOAF REGION.
DR. YOUSUF AL-OTHAIMEEN, DIRECTOR GENERAL OF KING ABDULLAH FOUNDATION FOR HIS PARENTS FOR DEVELOPMENTAL HOUSING, ALSO BRIEFED THE KING ON DETAILS OF THE PROJECT THROUGH A REPLICA OF A RESIDENTIAL UNIT SAMPLE.
PHASE I OF THE THREE-CATEGORY PROJECT CONSISTS OF 100 RESIDENTIAL UNITS. THE PROJECT WAS EQUIPPED WITH THE NECESSARY SERVICES, INCLUDING A MOSQUE, SCHOOLS, SOCIAL, CULTURAL AND MEDICAL CENTERS AS WELL AS ELECTRICITY, WATER, TELEPHONE AND SEWAGE DISCHARGE.
THE CURRENT PHASE IS EXPECTED TO COST SR25 MILLION AND WILL BE IMPLEMENTED IN 18 MONTHS.
