KING ABDULLAH PATRONIZES INAUGURATION OF DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS IN NORTHERN BORDERS REGION 2 ARAR, SAUDI ARABIA

ANQARI SAID THAT THE COST OF THE FIRST PHASE OF THE NORTHERN BORDERS UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCED BY THE KING AT THE GRAND FESTIVAL YESTERDAY AMOUNTS TO SR 500 MILLION.
THEN THE KING LAID THE FOUNDATION STONE OF THE FIRST PHASE OF THE UNIVERSITY .
ADDRESSING THE KING, DR. JUBARAH BIN EID AL-SURAISRI, THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT SAID THAT UPON YOUR WISE DIRECTIVES, THE REGION HAS HAD A GOOD SHARE OF INTEREST EMBODIED IN THE EXECUTION OF A NUMBER OF ROADS, 1722 KM LONG , AT A COST OF MORE THAN SR 1086 MILLION.
IN ANOTHER SPEECH, THE MINISTER OF HEALTH DR. ABDULLAH BIN HAMAD AL-MANEA SAID THAT THE KING WILL INAUGURATE AND LAY FOUNDATION STONES OF MEDICAL PROJECTS INCLUDING HOSPITALS, MEDICAL TOWERS AND CENTERS' EQUIPMENT AND ESTABLISHMENT AT A COST OF NEARLY 1 BILLION.
ON HIS PART, THE MINISTER OF WATER AND ELECTRICITY ENG. ABDULLAH BIN ABDULRAHMAN AL-HUSSEIN POINTED OUT THAT THE KING WILL INAUGURATE AND LAY FOUNDATION STONES OF A NUMBER OF WATER, DRAINAGE SYSTEMS AND ELECTRICITY PROJECTS IN THE REGION AT A COST OF MORE THAN SR 2.4 BILLION.
HE NOTED THAT AN AMOUNT OF SR 365 MILLION WAS APPROVED FOR THE REGION IN FISCAL YEAR 1427/1428 TO IMPLEMENT VARIOUS PROJECTS.
IN ANOTHER SPEECH, THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION DR. ABDULLAH BIN SALIH AL-OBAID ADDRESSED THE KING SAYING THAT YOU WILL INAUGURATE 38 BUILDINGS FOR EDUCATION AT A COST OF SR 184 MILLION AND LAY FOUNDATION STONES OF MORE THAN 100 FACILITIES AT A COST OF SR 500 MILLION, NOTING THAT MORE THAN 64,700 STUDENTS AND 5300 TEACHERS WILL BENEFIT FROM THESE PROJECTS.
THEN PRESIDENT OF SAUDI ARABIAN MINING COMPANY MAADEN DR. ABDULLAH BIN ISA AL-DABBAGH TALKED ABOUT THE COMPANY'S PROJECTS THAT WILL BE INAUGURATED BY THE KING INCLUDING AL-JALAMEED PHOSPHATE PROJECT AND PHOSPHATE FERTILIZER COMPLEX, NOTING THAT MINING OPERATIONS AND ESTABLISHMENT OF INDUSTRIAL CITY WILL PROVIDE NEARLY 15,000 JOB OPPORTUNITIES FOR SAUDI CITIZENS.
THE CEREMONY WAS ATTENDED BY PRINCE ABDULRAHMAN BIN ABDULAZIZ, DEPUTY MINISTER OF DEFENSE AND AVIATION AND INSPECTOR GENERAL, A NUMBER OF PRINCES, MINISTERS AND OFFICIALS.
