PATROLS OF THE BORDER GUARDS IN THE REGION OF NAJRAN HAVE ABORTED AN ATTEMPT TO SMUGGLE 54 KILOGRAMS OF HASHISH INTO THE KINGDOM AFTER EXCHANGING FIRE WITH TWO SMUGGLERS WHO TRIED TO CROSS THE BORDERS ON FOOT. COMMANDER OF THE BORDER GUARDS IN THE REGION OF NAJRAN MAJOR GENERAL SAAD ALSHAHRANI SAID THE GUARDS SEIZED 54 KILOGRAMS OF HASHISH AFTER EXCHANGING FIRE WITH TWO SMUGGLERS WHO TRIED TO CROSS THE BOARDERS ON FOOT FROM ABROAD BUT WERE CHASED AND FLED TO WHERE THEY CAME FROM LEAVING THE HASHISH BEHIND.
