Bid to smuggle hashish foiled

Patrols of Border Guards in Najran Region on Saturday foiled an attempt to smuggle the 92 kg of hashish. The Border Guards also had an exchange of fire with the smugglers in Siqam sector.
The commander of Border Guards in Najran Region, Major General Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al-Zahrani said the patrols observed a group of people in very rough mountainous areas who started shooting at the patrols.
The guards returned fire and the smugglers left behind the hashish which has been impounded.
