Afghan President Hamid Karzai and Pakistan's President Gen. Pervez Musharraf held a one-on-one meeting Monday to discuss ways of fighting terrorism. Karzai and Musharraf met at Turkey's presidential palace to discuss how they can work together to bring peace and stability to the region. They were expected to hold a joint news conference after the meeting, the Associated Press reported. Karzai and Musharraf arrived in Ankara on Sunday. Karzai on Sunday expressed hope that his meeting with Musharraf «will help us create a climate of trust between Afghanistan and Pakistan,» a statement from his office said.
