Two explosions rocked the Somali capital Mogadishu and its outskirts Tuesday, killing at least seven people, reports said, as a seventh straight day of fighting between Ethiopian-backed government troops and insurgents raged on, DPA reported. A small car packed with explosives detonated in the city's south, killing at least seven people and injuring at least 12, Somali news agency Shabelle reported. Earlier, a suicide bomber drove a truck into an Ethiopian military base some 30 kilometres south of the capital, but casualty numbers were not known.
