One person was killed and two others wounded in south-western Serbia in a gunfight between police and suspected extremists, police in Belgrade said. The dead man and one of the injured were suspects, the other wounded was a policeman, dpa quoted interior ministry sources as saying. The injured suspect has been released from the Novi Pazar hospital and taken to Belgrade under heavy police protection.
