A high powered delegation of Oman's Chamber of Commerce and Industry led by its Chairman Saleem Saeed Eassa Al-Ghattami has visited the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said an official statement. Ambassador of Sultanate of Oman to Pakistan, Muhammad Saeed Bin Muhammad Al-Lawati was also present during the visit, which was paid on the invitation of Nasir Khan, the President of Islamabad Chamber. Khan told his Omani counterpart that relations between the two countries called for enhancing the volume of trade to further strengthen the ties between them. Pakistan, he said, had signed Free Trade Agreements with different countries which would enhance its exports. He suggested that poultry, fruits, vegetables, surgical and pharmaceutical and sports goods be exported to Oman. The Omani Chamber's Chief Salem Saeed Essa Al-Ghattami also spoke about the cordial relations between the two countries.
