At least six cadres from a separatist group were killed in a clash in India's north-eastern state of Nagaland, a news report said Monday. Police told the Press Trust of India (PTI) that the fatalities resulted when rival groups of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN) traded gunfire in the central town of Zunheboto Sunday. While six activists of the Khaplang faction were killed in the firing, members from the rival Isaac-Muivah group did not suffer any injuries. A civilian also sustained bullet injuries in the clash, police told the Indian news agency.
