Small quake shakes parts of California, no damage reported

A small earthquake shook parts of Southern California's Ventura County on Tuesday. There were no immediate reports of damage or injury.
The magnitude-3.5 temblor occurred just before 6:30 a.m.,(1030 GMT), The Associated Press quoted a preliminary report from the U.S. Geological Survey.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injury, according to police Capt. Derek West.
The quake happened about 10 miles (16 kilometers) southwest of Thousand Oaks, which in turn is about 40 miles (64 kilometers) northwest of downtown Los Angeles.
