Yemen's Deputy Prime Minister, Interior Minister Rashad al-Alimi held talks here yesterday with the commander of French marine forces in Indian Ocean Jack Lunai on security cooperation ties and the French experience in various security sides. In the meeting, the Yemeni minister asserted the importance of gathering international efforts to fight terrorism as terrorists "belong to nowhere, no race, no religion". Al-Alimi praised the French support to the Yemeni Interior Ministry, especially the coast guards and general operations. The French official confirmed that Yemen could play vital role in security and stability in the region". On the other hand, the Interior Ministry honored the outgoing security envoy at the French embassy in Sana'a for his efforts in strengthening security relations between the two countries, the Yemeni News Agency "SABA" reported.
