Yemen's Minister of Defense Mohammad Nasser Ahmad has praised growing relations between Yemen and France in light of the signed defense Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). In a meeting here yesterday with the visiting French commander of the Indian Ocean military region, Jack Lunai, the Yemeni Defense minister appreciated the level of military cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting, they discussed mutual cooperation on fighting terrorism, piracy and smuggling as well as ways of exchanging technical experiences in the sphere of defense, according to a report of the Yemeni News Agency "SABA."
