Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu commended today the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz's during the opening ceremony of the 19th Arab summit yesterday. He affirmed the speech was vision-oriented and would serve as a new dawn for opting practical solutions for key Arab and Islamic causes. He also stressed that efforts to develop OIC are underway and a comprehensive assessment of OIC works will be done at the forthcoming conference of Islamic states' foreign ministers. He also drew the attention that dialogue among religions which began a long time ago did not achieve any result, adding that the OIC is working for boosting trade exchange among Islamic states. -- SPA
