Chief of Defense Staff of the United Kingdom Air Chief Marshal Sir Jock Stirrup has met General Ehsanul Haq, Chairman of the Joint chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan, an official statement said. While discussing the areas of mutual interest, the two leaders expressed satisfaction over the ongoing cooperation and the measures to further enhance the relationship. Haq reiterated Pakistan's support for the peace and stability in Afghanistan. He apprised the British Chief of Defense Staff about the measures being undertaken to enhance the security along Pakistan-Afghanistan border and the need for similar measures by NATO Forces on other side of the border was also highlighted.
