Advisor to Jordan's King Abdullah-II and his special envoy Dr. Bassem Awadallah has met President General Pervez Musharraf, says an official statement. Awadallah, also a former Foreign Minister of Jordan, briefed the president on the summit meeting early this week between the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz and the King Abdullah-II of Jordan. The statement said Awadallah conveyed the appreciation of the two leaders on Musharraf's efforts at promoting unity, solidarity and harmony in the Muslim world. According to the statement, in the recent weeks, Musharraf visited some key Arab and non-Arab Muslim countries for consultations on the urgent need to address the challenges confronting the Muslim world.
