BBC quoted Ibrahim Rahimor , the Iranian official who is in charge of the European affairs at the Iranian foreign ministry, as saying that the Iranian government had summoned the British Charge D' Affaires in Tehran and handed him a strong protest over what he described as the violation of the Iranian territorial waters by the British sailors. Meanwhile, Britain denied yesterday whether its sailors had violated Iran's territorial waters and asked Iran to release them. -- SPA
