Around 70 people were killed in an accident in Guinea when a run-down bridge collapsed under the weight of a lorry overloaded with passengers and goods, media reports said Tuesday. The accident occurred on Monday evening in the south-eastern town of Gueckedou, near the border with Sierra Leone, dpa reported. The lorry had been on its way back from the weekly market, carrying sacks of rice, coffee, bananas and palm oil, according to the reports.
